The City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs offers a variety of performing and visual arts classes from beginning to advanced levels for youth, teens, adults, and seniors. We’re dedicated to providing quality arts experiences and opportunities for the public in inviting and educational environments. We recognize the value of the arts and will continue to support efforts to increase arts awareness and appreciation.

Charleston Heights Arts Center

Fine arts courses offered for youth, teens, and adults include visual arts, drawing, ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop and private instruction in voice, piano, or dance by appointment.

Rainbow Company Youth Theatre Classes

Drama classes for ages 4 - 12 concentrate on improvisation, acting & creative drama. Students 13 and older explore all aspects of theatre. Classes are in high demand and limited to availability. Registrations open until class begins or is full.

Cultural arts classes for youth, teens, and adults include ballet, African dance, hip-hop, modern dance, Capoeira, African drum, audio engineering, Kemetic Yoga, and private instruction in voice and piano by appointment.

Registration is Easy! Choose from a variety of options for your convenience.

Online: Simply create a free account, browse, select register and pay with your credit card using our shopping cart feature. You can add or delete classes before you check out.

Phone: Call 702-229-ARTS and staff will be happy to help you. Please have your credit card information ready. If the line is busy, leave a message. You will get a return call. If you call outside of our operating hours, leave us a message. You will get a call the next business day, guaranteed!

Walk-In: Visit Charleston Heights Arts Center or the West Las Vegas Arts Center. We'd love to meet you. Pay with a check, debit, or credit card.

Register Early! Register and pay before a class begins. Class fees will not be pro-rated after it’s begun. We cannot guarantee enrollment in the class until your registration is entered into our system. Register early as some classes have limited enrollments and you don’t want to miss out!

Payments: Note that payments you make, either by check, debit or credit card, may take a couple of weeks to appear on your financial statements. It you wish to pay with cash, you must have the exact amount as we cannot make change.
