The City of Las Vegas West Las Vegas Arts Center Youth Performance Ensemble had the opportunity to attend the 26th Annual International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference held in Dallas, Texas Jan 15-19. The Youth Performance Ensemble was selected to represent the city of Las Vegas in the Evening Choreographic Showcase Thursday, Jan. 17, at McFarlin Auditorium on the campus of Southern Methodist University. Students also participated in various dance workshops and panel discussions facilitated by nationwide educators and international master instructors.

In our efforts to provide excellent instruction, students are asked to arrive promptly to all West Las Vegas Arts Center classes. Students will not be permitted to take class if they are more than 15 minutes late. Registration 6 Week-Fees are non-refundable.

Dance

Keep It Moving … Ballet & Tap / Beginner

Martial Arts

Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do is the ancient Korean art of unarmed combat dating back some 2,000 years. Tae means to smash or kick with the foot, Kwon is to punch or attack with the hand, and Do is the way. Thus, Tae Kwon Do is the way of the foot and the fist. Uniform required and may be purchased through instructor. Cost of the uniform is $45 and is due by third week of class.
