For 16 years the city of Las Vegas West Las Vegas Arts Center has been home to the Performing & Visual Arts Summer Camp for Kids, providing community youth with pivotal opportunities for civil engagement through arts education. These talented young artists 10-15 years old, commit themselves to the philosophy, "Excellence without Excuse", developing art appreciation in music, dance, theatre and spoken word. The West Las Vegas Arts Center's goal is to produce healthy and solid responsible citizens, with steadfast discipline, resiliency to manage emotional or physical growth, with integrity and pride to become dynamic community ambassadors through the cultural and performing arts.

The Office of Cultural Affairs has a conference room available for rent at the West Las Vegas Arts Center. Ideal for meetings or small social gatherings, the conference room is equipped with tables and chairs and can accommodate various configurations and capacities. This room will accommodate a variety of configurations and events, at varying capacities. The most versatile of all the rentable space, these rooms can host a variety of activities from dance classes and rehearsals to large corporate meetings.

The city of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs has a recording studio available for rent by individuals or organizations for the purpose of recording audio materials and/or editing and mixing both audio and visual media. The recording studio is located in the West Las Vegas Arts Center. The recording studio must be booked in advance to ensure that staff are available to support.
