From live music and theatre to puppets and fantasy, these affordable one-hour performances provide an opportunity for children and families to experience a variety of performing arts programs. Previous years included puppet theatre to the classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, Lucky Diaz; the Family Jam Band, and Tanglewood Marionettes’ performance of The Dragon King. This year’s line-up promises to be just as exciting and spectacular. Wednesday Family night performances are at 7 p.m. at the Charleston Heights Arts Center and the Thursday shows are at 10:30 a.m. at the Historic Fifth Street School Auditorium.
